Performance Social Manager \n Sonsie · New York, NY (In-Person) · Full-time · $65,000 base \n \n About Sonsie \n \n Sonsie is a beauty brand founded by Pamela Anderson, built on the belief that skincare should feel as good as it works. We're a small, fast-moving team that cares deeply about what we make and how we show up in the world. \n \n The Role \n \n We're hiring a Performance Social Manager to join our social team as the conversion-focused counterpart to our Creative Social Manager. You'll work together daily — they build the brand, you build the content that drives people to act on it. \n \n This isn't a paid media role. You're a content creator who thinks in hooks, tests obsessively, and knows how to make someone stop scrolling, click through, and buy something. You shoot your own content, own your own testing framework, and report into our CMO. \n \n What You'll Do \n \n Ideate and produce short-form video content designed to convert — product demos, before/after, testimonials, education, UGC-style content. Shoot and edit yourself. Develop a testing framework around hooks, formats, CTAs, and messaging angles. Own link-in-bio, story links, and shopping tags to drive traffic from social to site. Track what's working — click-through, site traffic, conversion — and use it to inform your next idea. Flag high-performing content that could work as paid creative. Collaborate daily with our Creative Social Manager and escalate decisions up through the CMO. \n \n What We're Looking For \n \n 2-3 years creating content for a DTC or beauty brand. Strong instinct for what converts and the results to back it up. Comfortable behind the camera and in the data. You move fast, iterate without ego, and don't need a lot of structure to thrive. \n \n What This Isn't \n \n A media buying role. A management role. A place to wait for briefs. \n \n Why Sonsie? \n \n At Sonsie, we’re creating culture through story, community, and point of view — beauty that meets people where they are and grows with them. This role isn’t about posting content; it’s about shaping a voice, setting a tone, and helping build a world people want to belong to. \n If you see content as culture, believe brands should feel human, and want to help define something from the inside — Sonsie is the place to do it. \n Sonsie Skin Inc., an equal opportunity employer, is committed to equal opportunity for all employees and applicants. The Company recruits, hires, trains, promotes, pays, and administers all personnel actions without regard to race, color, religion, creed, sex, gender, national origin, age, mental or physical disability, ancestry, medical condition, marital status, military or veteran status, citizenship status, sexual orientation, genetic information, reproductive health decision making, or any other status protected by applicable law.
