The ideal candidate will be hands-on with repairs, maintenance, and daily building operations. Responsibilities: - Handle all types of repairs , including plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance. and plaster and paint. - Oversee and manage building cleanliness and ensure garbage removal is done properly. - Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance of building systems. - Respond promptly to tenant maintenance requests and emergencies. - Supervise any outside contractors or vendors working on the property. - Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations. - Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance work. Qualifications: - Prior experience as a Superintendent or similar building maintenance role, ideally in a large multifamily property . - Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems . - Ability to work independently and handle emergencies efficiently. - Must be hands-on, reliable, and detail-oriented . must speak English - Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with tenants. - Legally authorized to work in the U.S. - Competitive pay based on experience. - Opportunity to work in a high-end, well-maintained building. Able to diagnose the mechanical break-down such as suspension, alignment, HVAC, electrical and etc. 4. Able to ead and Understand DTC (Diagnostics Trouble Code) and use Autel Scanners to resolve the troubleshooting and perform the jobs. (Clearing codes are Not a Solutions!) 5. Must be able to communicate with Multiple Vendors to place the orders upon Head Mechanic's approval. 6. New York State Inspection License Preferred.
