Seeking a motivated and energetic bartender for a new speakeasy opening in NoMad on Madison Ave and 32nd Street.
Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years bartending experience is required
Knowledge of drink mixing techniques, garnishes, and presentation
Demonstrate knowledge of all signature cocktails (ingredients, spec, build)
Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
Anticipate guest needs and create strong guest relationships and experiences
Must be of legal drinking age
Current responsible alcohol service certification (or the willingness to obtain it)

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, beer, and wine, following established recipes and our signature creations
Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking drink orders and ensuring their needs are met
Monitor alcohol intake and prevent overindulgence, always prioritizing the safety and well-being of our patrons
Keep the bar area clean and organized, including washing glassware and utensils, restocking supplies, and maintaining a clean and well-stocked bar
Handle cash transactions and maintain an accurate till
Provide suggestions and recommendations to customers based on their preferences and our menu offerings
Maintain a thorough knowledge of all our beverages, including ingredients, preparation methods, and pricing
Willing and able to work evenings, weekends and holidays
