The Difference You Make: The candidate will be responsible for managing the Underwriting & Portfolio Management of a defined portfolio of Fund Finance transactions. The Portfolio is primary comprised of Fund Finance loans comprising of NAV, Subscription, ABL and range of other related facilities. This position will work closely with the product teams to present and defend business opportunities to the 2nd Line of Defense. The candidate will manage the business relationship with risk and ensure all required portfolio management tasks are completed. Responsibilities: • Work closely with product / origination team to develop credit recommendations on new transactions which include clear views of credit structures and risks on NAVs, subscription lines, ABLs and related fund facilities., • Lead underwriting, credit analysis and closing of refinancings, upsizes, extensions and amendments as needed, including annual reviews and credit approval memos., • Communicates portfolio trends, risks and mitigants to senior leadership., • Develops and manages portfolio information needed to accommodate sound risk management, economic and regulatory reporting requirements., • Lead the financial modelling review of complex structured fund finance facilities, including the impacts of complex transactions including mergers, acquisitions and divestitures., • Supports junior development through building strong relationships with the team as a mentor as needed., • Collaborates with product team members prior to loan closing on approval memos, legal documentation, collateral review and funding approvals., • Manages and controls risks throughout the post-closing credit process to ensure strong borrower performance., • Monitors and enforces terms of loan agreement / documents., • Identifies and establishes best practices policies and procedures., • Manages other Portfolio Management functions, including collaborating with new business team on up-front and ongoing client due diligence, etc., • Leads and/or provides valuable input for broader business initiatives, projects and goals. We are currently seeking an Associate Director, Credit Underwriting Analytics, to help lead our joint borrower installment loan business. In this critical role, the select individual will help grow the newly formed joint loan strategy team. This leader will be responsible for complex end-to-end strategy development focused on how we better serve customers through joint loan offers. The role will provide the opportunity to develop new ways we partner with key business partners to improve the lending process while growing the joint loan business. Working with various partners, this individual will deliver new policies to market, monitoring, and reporting on existing strategies, and partner with technology and marketing to create new functionalities and customer experiences. They will directly impact business processes, policy/product development, revenue growth, and risk management of OneMain’s largest business.
