Iva’s Sweet Parlour is an upscale custom bakery specializing in the creation of exquisite sugar art. We are seeking a talented and passionate Cake Decorator to join our amazing team. This role, sometimes referred to as an Assembly Technician, is central to bringing our cake designs to life through intricate decorating techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Filling, stacking, and crumb-coating various types of cakes.
• Expertly finishing layered cakes with both buttercream and fondant.
• Crafting detailed sugar art, including buttercream flowers, decorative borders, and custom writing.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 1–2 years of hands-on experience in a professional bakery environment.
• Portfolio: A comprehensive portfolio showcasing your decorating work, with an emphasis on buttercream flowers, borders, and writing samples.
• Skills:

Physical Requirements:

• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk for 6–8 hours a day within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
