ThrYve Teams is an agency that trains mentors for children with social, emotional and behavioral health challenges. Medicaid pays for this program, so while you get paid for your time, the families you work with receive this much-needed help for free! A win, win! A social worker evaluates the child and writes a personalized plan for the mentor to use in their care. The mentor works closely under the social worker to help the child reach the self-improvement goals in their plan. Job is on site at children's homes, based on your own set schedule that you build. Hours are between 6-20 hrs a week.
Requirements:
Must be legally able to work in the US
Must have a high school diploma; BS/BA is a bonus with higher pay
Must have experience working with kids, at least 2 years (babysitting, camp counseling, tutoring, etc can all count)
Must be warm, dependable and passionate about helping children grow!
