The company is passionate about making all the guests of LOS TACOS No. 1 feel that they have been transported to Mexico when they enter our restaurant. Job Description: Cashier The cashier is responsible for opening and closing his/her own cash registers and charging customers. The cashier must have excellent communication with the customer and ask the necessary questions to take the order in a professional, cordial, and CORRECT way! Duties and Responsibilities • Greet the customers with “Bienvenido’s” and a smile., • Entering food orders using cash register POS System., • Handling Cash and credit transactions. Count money in the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each work shift, Accept cash and return the correct change., • Maintain a well-stocked salsa bar, drink cup lids, and napkins before and after shift, Clean dining room, and cashier station., • Maintain Beverage Fridges stocked and clean., • Upsell products Sides, Drinks, Aguas Frescas, etc., • Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant and follow all food safety and Health & safety guidelines., • Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information., • Take pride in serving guests and providing exceptional customer service., • Completes other duties as assigned by the MOD( Manager on Duty).
