Job Summary:
The Deli Man is responsible for preparing, slicing, weighing, packaging, and merchandising a variety of deli products. This includes meats, cheeses, salads, and prepared foods. The ideal candidate provides excellent customer service, maintains a clean and sanitary work environment, and follows all food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers and assist them with deli product selections

Slice meats and cheeses to customer specifications using deli equipment

Prepare and package deli items, such as sandwiches, salads, and party trays

Maintain product displays, stock shelves, and ensure proper product rotation

Follow proper food handling procedures and sanitation guidelines

Clean and sanitize workstations, equipment, and deli cases regularly

Monitor product quality and report expired or spoiled items

Operate scales, slicers, ovens, fryers, and other deli equipment safely

Process customer transactions when required

Follow store and department policies, procedures, and safety rules
