WHY WORK AT JOE & THE JUICE JOE & THE JUICE is a people-centric food and beverage company built around culture, not just juice, sandwiches, coffee, and much more. When joining us, you step into a high-energy community where the music is loud, the bar is your stage, and your personality matters as much as your skills. We believe in four simple virtues that shape everything we do: • Positive Attitude, • Inclusion, • Social Ties, • Growth For us, this means that when you choose a cup-half-full mindset, welcome people from every background, build real friendships across the bar by creating great guest experiences, and use every shift as a chance to learn something new — you become more than just a Juicer; like us, you continue to search and find purpose and meaning in what you do. From your first day, you'll be part of an international network of Juicers who support each other, celebrate wins together, and push each other to grow. You will learn by doing, move through a clear Moneyball career path, and be part of a company where most leaders have earned their stripes behind the bar (fun fact: over 75% of our employees started as Juicers!). If you love fast-paced service, music, people, and the idea of turning a job into a lifestyle, JOE can become a place to build skills, friendships, and a career that can take you across cities, countries, and roles. EVENT & COMMUNITY MANAGER Reports to: Sr. Event & Community Manager Location: Based in our NYC HQ office THE ROLE We are growing fast, and with that comes a lot of new JOE & THE JUICE stores. Keep timelines, budgets, contacts and event details organized. Coordinate with internal teams including Brand & Culture, Operations, Training, Real Estate and local store teams. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR • 2+ years of experience in events, community, hospitality, experiential marketing, brand activations or a similar role. Experience working on events or activations from planning through execution. Extremely organized and able to manage multiple deadlines at once. Someone who naturally takes ownership and follows things through. A strong communicator who is comfortable working with both internal teams and external partners. Comfortable reaching out to people and building relationships. Creative and culturally curious, with a good understanding of what is happening in music, fitness, wellness, food, fashion and lifestyle. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where plans can change quickly. Willing to travel and work evenings or weekends when events and openings require it. Strong attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture. Comfortable being hands-on. If something needs to be moved, fixed, picked up, set up or solved, you are not afraid to jump in. * You understand that a great event is about the people and the experience, not just the production. You genuinely enjoy meeting people, building relationships and creating community. Culturally curious. You know what is happening around you and understand what makes people want to show up.
