We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service management, hospitality, and team leadership. This role requires overseeing daily restaurant functions, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining operational efficiency, and fostering a positive work environment.


The General Manager will play a key role in driving the restaurant’s success through effective management of staff, inventory, and customer satisfaction.



Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service, and cleanliness
  • Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards
  • Supervise front-of-house and kitchen staff to deliver excellent customer service and food quality
  • Maintain inventory control and manage food safety standards in compliance with health regulations
  • Monitor daily sales and operational metrics to meet business goals
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies, sanitation standards, and licensing regulations
  • Lead hiring processes including interviewing and onboarding new team members
  • Implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing clientele
  • Manage budgets, control costs, and optimize resources for maximum profitability
  • Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration and professional growth

Skills

  • Proven management experience in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining establishments
  • Strong knowledge of food industry standards including food safety, handling, and production processes
  • Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling expertise required
  • Excellent leadership skills with a background in staff training, supervision, and team management
  • Ability to oversee kitchen management, food preparation, catering, banquets, and bar operations if applicable
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence
  • Competence in budgeting, inventory control, food management, and cost analysis
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle shift management efficiently
  • Culinary experience or fine dining background is a plus; hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous
  • Effective communication skills for interviewing, training & development, and staff supervision
  • Leadership qualities that promote a positive work culture and high employee morale
