Server with experience( Japanese cuisine is better) willing to train if necessary for fine dining, at least 3 years of experience and love the hospitality industry

Position Summary: We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Server to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about Japanese food and culture, has prior restaurant serving experience, and enjoys delivering exceptional dining experiences. Key Responsibilities: • Greet and seat guests with warmth and professionalism., • Provide knowledgeable recommendations on our menu., • Take accurate orders and deliver food and beverages promptly., • Ensure guests have an exceptional dining experience by anticipating needs and providing attentive service., • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, following SOP for opening and closing., • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth operations. Qualifications: • Minimum 1–2 years of restaurant serving experience, preferably in a Japanese or Asian cuisine environment., • Familiarity with Japanese language and culture is highly desirable., • Strong communication and interpersonal skills., • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment., • Competitive pay and tips., • Team-oriented and supportive work culture., • Huge potential for leadership growth

This job is for 2 shifts, from 1pm to 9pm and 3pm to 11pm. Guests will start arriving at 4pm and we will serve drinks until 10pm, after which we will need help wrapping up and loading out. Food will be set up in a buffet style and guests will get their own plates. The job entails - helping set up before the guests arrive, picking up and helping to wash dirty plates and glasses, making sure water and napking are restocked, clearing and moving the tables when the dinner portion is over and guests are ready for the dance party and cake. One person will need to occasionally help the bartender, also will need one person to be the doorman.

We are located financial district NY.

We are looking for servers with a strong work ethic, previous customer service experience, excellent time management skills and the knowledge of basic food safety. You must be able to work cooperatively and independently in high pressure situations. Job duties include greeting customers, tending tables, cleaning tables, assisting kitchen staff with plating and or prepping food when necessary, making drinks, handling hookah and cleaning facilities.
