Responsibilities: • Manage a caseload of complex insurance litigation cases from inception through to resolution., • Conduct comprehensive and effective deposition and discovery., • Develop and implement litigation strategies in collaboration with other attorneys and clients., • Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and settlement agreements., • Represent clients in court, arbitration, mediation, and administrative proceedings., • Provide sound legal advice to clients on various insurance matters., • Stay updated on current laws, regulations, and industry trends in insurance litigation., • Collaborate effectively with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff., • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school., • Licensed to practice law in NY or DC., • Minimum of 8 years of experience in insurance or reinsurance litigation., • Proven expertise in deposition and discovery., • Proficient in legal research and writing., • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills., • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities., • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously., • Demonstrated ability to provide sound legal advice to clients., • High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and gravitas., • Proven track record of courtroom success., • Proficient in the use of legal software and technology.
