Medical Office Manager (Upper East Side)
I need a part time ,practice manager for psychiatric practice (one physician).
Excellent social skills a must.
Return phone calls ,call in prescriptions,obtain prior authorizations for medications,Scheduling and billing.(The practice doesn't accept insurance-fee for service,we provide statement only)
Computer skills
Filing,medical record organizing.
Familiarity with billing codes,diagnostic codes (or ability to learn rapidly)
The practice is not busy,(8 to 10 patients /day) but detail oriented.(no delay in returning calls,filling forms...)
Compensation to be discussed depending on experience and skill.

Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively, especially in medical terminology. Prior clinic office experience is desirable; familiarity with medical terminology hospital experience is advantageous.
