SENIOR INDUSTRIAL TECHNICIAN - $2,000 sign-on bonus!!! Location: Harpster, OH (primary) Pay Range: $28–$38/hr Job Summary We are seeking a dependable Industrial Technician to repair, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial machinery, automation systems, and facility equipment in a production environment. This position plays a key role in ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and production efficiency through preventive and corrective maintenance. Key Responsibilities • Perform maintenance and repairs on automation, mechanical, electrical, and conveying systems., • Troubleshoot root causes of mechanical/electrical issues and complete repairs such as welding, fabricating, plumbing, or part replacement., • Conduct scheduled conveyor maintenance and support Preventive Maintenance Programs., • Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical and electronic wiring, components, and fixtures., • Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, and other components., • Repair or replace motors, gearboxes, belts, pulleys, rollers, shafts, and chains., • Maintain clean, organized tools and work areas., • Identify and correct unsafe conditions; follow strict food safety and biosecurity protocols., • 3+ years of industrial, commercial, or facility systems maintenance experience., • High School Diploma or GED required., • Knowledge of electrical systems, testing devices, pneumatics, and hydraulics., • Ability to read and follow SOPs and technical instructions., • Must be able to lift, push, or pull 75+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks., • Trade school or technical training in mechanical, welding, HVAC, or electrical maintenance., • Experience in food, poultry, or agriculture environments a plus. This role involves working in a fast-paced industrial setting with exposure to noise, moving machinery, confined spaces, temperature changes, and wet/slippery surfaces. PPE such as steel-toed boots, hearing protection, and safety glasses is required. Must be comfortable working at heights and outdoors as needed, while adhering to strict safety and compliance standards.
