Medical Assistant (MA) – Full-Time Bronx, NY - Bilingual (English/Spanish) Position Summary The Medical Assistant (MA) supports clinical operations by assisting providers with patient care, performing administrative duties, and ensuring efficient workflow within the clinic. The MA plays a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced outpatient setting. Key Responsibilities Clinical Duties • Prepare patients for examination (vitals, medical history, chief complaints), • Assist providers during examinations and procedures, • Perform basic clinical tasks such as: Blood pressure, pulse, temperature, oxygen saturation, Height/weight and BMI documentation, • Support the physician during intake with translation when needed, • Perform EKGs, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing (if applicable), • Clean and sterilize equipment and exam rooms, • Maintain infection control and safety standards Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent required, • Completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred, • Certification preferred (e.g., CMA, RMA), • Prior experience preferred, • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
