We're offering a fantastic opportunity for a part-time to full-time NJ licensed Physical Therapist Associate committed to the success of our patients while furthering their own career. We seek specialists who consider one-on-one treatment the gold standard, build relationships founded on trust, experience, and empathy, and grow organically through internal and patient referrals. Responsibilities
Identify and meet patients’ goals and needs
Offer cost-effective treatments that help improve clients’ motion and mobility
Avoid the need for medications and provide alternatives to surgery
Develop care plans using a variety of treatment techniques
Create fitness- and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients’ specific needs
Provide quality, personalized, and evidence-based care and proven interventions
Motivate patients during treatment in order to help them function optimally
Promote clients’ healthy lifestyle by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination
Coordinate care with other health professionals
Evaluate effects and monitor and communicate progress
Document patient care services
Skills
Proven work experience as a physical therapist
Intensive education and clinical expertise
Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities
Current knowledge of treatment practices
Drive to continually learn and grow
Professional behavior
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Valid license to practice physical therapy in NJ and Malpractice Insurance
Qualifications
Physical Therapy License
Strong patient care skills
Experience in developing and implementing care plans
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology
Ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively
Familiarity with discharge planning and acute care settings
Experience in working with pediatric patients
Proficiency in EMR systems and trigger point therapy techniques
Previous experience in outpatient, health settings
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 40 per week
