This is a PART TIME role as a Pet Care Provider located in Jersey City, NJ. It is best to live close to this area. The role involves day-to-day tasks related to providing care for pets and ensuring their well-being. Dog walking, staying overnight at a pets' home and indoor pet feeding and some longer hours of pet sitting on occasion will be required.

We are looking to add an Animal Care Attendant to our team at NY Dog Spa & Hotel 20th! CORE RESPONSIBILITES (include but are not limited to): - Supports Mission, Vision and Values of Destination Pet. - Sanitizes/disinfects pet enclosures and general boarding areas. - Provides clean bedding and ensures pet guests have clean water at all times. - Makes sure that each pet receives the correct type and quantity of food for each meal and maintains cleanliness of food prep areas. - Monitors and accurately charts consumption and elimination of every pet guest; brings concerns to the General Manager or Assistant Manager. - Visually checks pet guests for safety and well-being throughout the day. - May be required to supervise group play for dogs and/or individual activities for pet guests. - May be required to assist with bathing and brushing of canine guests. - Checks and picks up excrement from enclosures and other areas as needed throughout the day. - Monitors pet belongings; cleans belongings as needed; assures the return of pet belongings to owners. Carries pet belongings to storage area, front desk or to assist customers, as needed. - Performs daily laundering of pet bedding and towels. REQUIREMENTS: Expertise & Experience: - Must be a pet fanatic – pets are part of our family! - Professional animal care/kennel experience preferred. - Displays a professional manner at all times. - Entry Level role. High school/ College/ Teenagers 16+ encouraged to apply. Physical: - Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays. - Must frequently lift 40 pounds. - Must be able to be on feet for the duration of your shift. - Must be able to stand, walk and climb stairs frequently. - Must be able to handle dogs on leashes. - Must be able to work in an environment with exposure to disinfectant/sanitation chemicals, animal dander and excretions.

General worker, Clerical, manager, photography, sales experience or supervisor, bilingual is a plus. Immediate Openings. 0930 am to 130 pm and 130pm to 530pm and/or 1130 am to 530pm for clerical. We have a 180-hour paid training program. Your requirements for training are to purchase a special type of shoe, (oil resistant, slip resistant shoe.) Animal Care Technician You do not need qualifications, you are taught how to do the job, however the candidate must be responsible, work without supervision, have common sense, be able to multitask, able to work independently, be prompt, have work ethics and be able to retain what is taught. Please note if you have issues with being on time, or being to work period, being to an interview on time, this is not the job for you. Please note you would be working in a pet store; at times you may get dirty. The pet store is located in Paterson NJ 07513. This job is noisy, smelly and again can be dirty. Having worked in a restaurant previously and/or Bi-Lingual is a plus.

We are looking to hire a competent veterinary technician to provide compassionate patient care and positive client experiences. The veterinary technician will provide critical care nursing, triage patients, coordinate their care, and provide them with care before and after surgery by taking their vitals, performing phlebotomy duties, and providing intramuscular (IM), intravenous (IV) and subcutaneous (SQ) injections. You will discuss treatments and disease processes with clients, systematize and track patient diagnostics, and communicate with clients, veterinarians and pharmacies regarding patients' needs. To ensure success in this position, you need to be meticulous and compassionate to provide patients with the highest level of care. Preferred applicants are motivated, empathetic and detail-oriented. Veterinary Technician Responsibilities: Triaging patients and taking their vitals, and acquiring patient history and other information from clients. Assisting with diagnostic procedures. Discussing treatment plans and estimates, and payment options with clients. Acquiring cephalic, saphenous, and jugular blood samples. Inserting IV catheters, and monitoring anesthesia, ventilators, and fluid therapy. Operating autoclaves and Anprolene sterilizers. Processing specimens in the in-house laboratory and submitting specimens to outside laboratories. Calculating medication dosages, and providing dosage instructions for clients. Entering patients' service charges into the computer database and keeping accurate patient records. Explaining patient instructions to clients and sharing educational materials. Veterinary Technician Requirements: Associate’s degree or higher in veterinary technology from an accredited school. 2+ years of work experience as a veterinary technician. Proficient computer skills. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong affinity for animals. Outstanding people skills. Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment. Undeterred by being scratched and bitten by patients. Team player.
