Job Description Foothill Farms Veterinary Hospital is growing and has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team! Our technicians play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care during appointments and procedures by coordinating and executing treatment plans and providing thorough client education. In this role, you will spend the morning working with anesthetic procedures and dentals, and the afternoon assisting with exams and outpatient care. You will maintain detailed medical records, review and implement treatment plans, and address clients' questions. Additionally, you will coordinate with your team to manage the veterinarian’s orders, ensuring the highest level of patient care and maintaining an efficient workflow to keep exams and procedures running on schedule. This position is ideal for technicians who want to utilize their full RVT skillset and excel in client engagement and schedule management. This is a full-time position with 8-hour shifts scheduled Tuesday-Saturday. Full-time benefits and compensation**: • Compensation: $26-29 per hour, for each hour worked*, • Bonus package: $2000, • CE allowance: $500 the first year, $1,000 annually thereafter, • Health package: Medical, dental, and vision insurance with choice of United Healthcare or Kaiser Permanente, • Life insurance, disability and 401k options, • Paid time off in accordance with site policy and applicable law, • Current Registered Veterinary Technician license in the state of California, • 5+ years of clinical experience, • Venipuncture and cystocentesis, • Anesthetic induction, monitoring, and surgical assistance, • Dentistry including charting, prophy and radiographs, • Familiarity with Cornerstone software and Fear Free patient handling is a plus!
