Job Description Job Title: Carpenter Framer Job Description Experience in framing carpentry, with the ability to construct and assemble wall panels, floor systems, and roof structures using wood and other framing materials. This role requires precision and efficiency in interpreting blueprints and construction plans to ensure accurate layout and execution. Responsibilities • Construct and assemble wall panels, floor systems, and roof structures using wood and other framing materials., • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate layout and execution., • Install framing components including studs, joists, rafters, and sheathing with precision and efficiency., • Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively, maintaining a clean and organized work area., • Collaborate with supervisors and other trades to meet project timelines and quality standards., • Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and structural requirements. Essential Skills • 3+ years of framing experience in residential or modular construction., • Strong understanding of framing techniques, materials, and structural principles., • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications., • Skilled in using framing tools such as nail guns, saws, levels, and measuring devices., • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Journeyman level with at least 3 years of framing carpentry experience., • Strong work ethic and commitment to safety and quality craftsmanship., • Familiarity with construction in a manufacturing or modular building environment is a plus., • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. The role is primarily during the swing shift from Monday to Friday, 2pm to 10:30pm, with occasional half-day Saturdays. This position involves working with both hand and power tools in a structured and safety-conscious environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sacramento, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
