Your Responsibilities as a Form Carpenter/Concrete Finisher: As a Form Carpenter/Concrete Finisher at Petticoat-Schmitt, you’ll need a solid background working with heavy construction concrete framework. • Safely operate hand tools: skill saws, reciprocating saws, grinders, drills, and hammers., • Handling and moving various construction materials., • Grade preparation, leveling, and spreading dirt/stone., • Reading blueprints with the ability to make precise measurements., • Cutting and assembling boards, timber, plywood, and other manufacturing systems to build forms., • Laying out, erecting, and tying reinforcing bars, • Erecting scaffolds and ladders, • Installing embedded items such as: pipes and metal imbeds This role isn’t for just anyone.
