Job Description Job Title: Assembler Job Description Join our team in the manufacturing and assembly of industrial power systems. This role involves wiring power systems and assembling electrical components. You will be expected to read schematics and engineering drawings for assembly, and utilize hand and power tools such as power drills, wire crimpers, wire strippers, screwdrivers, hammers, and tape measures. Pay ranges from $16.50-19/hr depending on skills. Responsibilities • Assemble and wire industrial power systems., • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and schematic drawings., • Use hand and power tools including drills, wire crimpers, and screwdrivers., • Measure and cut materials using a tape measure., • Proficient in reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and blueprints., • Skilled in using hand and power tools., • High School Diploma or GED required. This position is a contract-to-hire opportunity with potential for pay raises, profit sharing, benefits, PTO, paid holidays, and a 401k upon conversion to a permanent role. Profit sharing bonuses are distributed quarterly. The company is expanding to a new facility, offering opportunities for advancement and cross-training in various departments. Work Environment Work in a large, open bay production facility with multiple workstations. The production floor is not climate controlled but is equipped with industrial-sized ceiling fans. Safety shoes, glasses, and ear plugs are required. The shift is from 6:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday, and 6:00am to 12:30pm on Saturdays. Availability for Saturday work is mandatory. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, Florida. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
