Job Description Job Description, Goals & Compensation Plan Punchout / Warranty Technician The Punchout / Warranty Technician is responsible for completing final punch-list items, warranty work, and service calls in newly completed and occupied homes. We operate as a team with the shared goal of delivering an exceptional homeowner experience. Clear communication with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and teammates is essential.Responsibilities, • Complete final punch-list items prior to homeowner move-in., • Perform warranty and service work in occupied homes., • Diagnose and repair residential construction-related issues efficiently., • Complete a variety of repair tasks, including:, • Trim and finish carpentry repairs, • Door and hardware adjustments, • Cabinet and drawer alignment, • Drywall patching and repair, • Caulking and sealing, • Paint touch-ups, • Minor tile, flooring, and grout repairs, • Basic plumbing fixture adjustments, • Minor electrical fixture replacements (switches, outlets, and light fixtures), • Identify root causes of issues rather than simply treating symptoms., • Communicate clearly with project managers and office staff., • Maintain organized records of completed warranty and service work., • Keep work areas clean and protect finished surfaces inside client homes., • Complete daily work logs., • Follow all job site safety procedures., • Ensure the safekeeping of homes, building materials, and finishes while on site.Qualifications, • 3+ years of residential construction, carpentry, remodeling, or handyman experience preferred., • Strong knowledge of residential construction methods and finish materials., • Ability to perform high-quality repairs across multiple trades., • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills., • Ability to work independently and effectively manage daily workload., • Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship., • Professional, courteous communication with homeowners., • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation., • Ability to provide standard hand tools and cordless tools.
