Job Description Job Summary The Cultural & Themed Entertainment Systems Integrator plays a critical role in shaping high-performance lighting and control solutions that meet the creative and technical demands of entertainment and architectural environments. This role bridges client vision with practical system design by developing integrated, innovative, and cost-effective solutions that align with project specifications. Collaborating closely with sales, project management, and installation teams, the System Integrator transforms conceptual ideas into actionable system plans, ensuring design integrity from pre-sale through project execution. This position directly supports business growth by delivering tailored, technically sound solutions that enhance client satisfaction and project success. Essential Functions • Translates customer requirements and request for proposal (RFP) documentation into comprehensive system designs, including bill of materials, internal estimation materials, and functional narratives., • Develops submittal packages, control system layouts, integration drawings, detail drawings, and material delivery schedules to communicate system solutions., • Designs and specifies lighting and control systems that align with project objectives, technical requirements, and industry standards., • Coordinates with internal project management and technical teams., • Attends design and coordination meetings to identify integration needs and define system requirements and deliverables., • Performs take-offs and prepares internal estimation materials to ensure system design aligns with project budgets and scope., • Reviews and provides feedback on drawing packages created by other engineers to ensure design accuracy and intent., • Conducts site surveys and maintains ongoing coordination with Electrical Contractors and internal integration teams., • Submits, reviews, and resolves RFIs during both pre-bid and post-bid phases of the project., • Engages with clients to understand their mission and goals, asking insightful questions and designing tailored system solutions. Other Functions • Responds to technical questions for Operations team members., • Provides technical guidance and support to on-site installations teams during implementation., • Collaborates with logistics and inventory teams to source correct materials to ensure timely material availability., • Reviews and interprets functional requirements and site survey data shared by Sales team., • Attends project kick-off and status meetings to support project execution and alignment., • Draft change orders for contracted projects to document scope adjustments., • Assist with As-Built closeout documentation., • Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Education • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Theatrical Design, Architecture, or a related field; equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered., • Minimum 3 years of experience in lighting system design, system integration, or a related technical field, preferably within the entertainment or architectural lighting industry., • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and specifications., • Working knowledge of lighting control systems, entertainment technology, and system components form major industry manufactures., • Experience using design software such as AutoCAD, Vectorworks, Revit, or similar platforms., • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate conceptual ideas into detailed technical documentation., • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders., • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize task; and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment., • Ability to conduct site visits and interface with client, contractors, and internal teams in both office and field settings., • Familiarity with industry codes, standards, and best practices related to lighting systems is a plus. Physical Demands/Work Environment This position primarily operates in a professional office environment and requires the ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while working at a computer. The employee will regularly use standard office equipment such as computes, phones, printers, and plotters. Occasional movement within the office is required to access files, attending meetings, and collaborate with team members. This role may also involve periodic travel to project sites, where the employee may be required to walk, stand, climb stairs or ladders, and navigate uneven surfaces. Visual acuity is necessary to review technical drawings, schematics, and detailed plans. On occasion, the employee may need to lift or carry equipment or materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
