Company Description NeuroPraxis is California's premiere in-home and community-based rehabilitation program for individuals with brain and spinal cord injuries. Our interdisciplinary team incorporates technological advancements and innovative rehabilitation techniques to help clients overcome their TBI and/or SCI-related physical, emotional, and social challenges. We provide comprehensive rehabilitation programs customized to the unique needs of each patient and believe that individualized care is essential to a successful rehabilitation journey. Role Description The Speech Therapist will provide teletherapy services to individuals with brain and spinal cord injuries, focusing on speech, communication, language, and swallowing disorders. Day-to-day tasks include conducting assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, monitoring progress, and collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to enhance patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing evaluations, • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs, • Treat speech, communication, language, and dysphagia-related swallowing disorders, • Monitor and document client progress in the designated EMR, • Collaborate with case managers and interdisciplinary rehabilitation team members, • Educate clients and caregivers on therapeutic strategies and goals Qualifications • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program, • Active California SLP license in good standing, • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP), • Expertise in speech therapy evaluation and treatment, • Strong knowledge of speech, communication, and language disorders, • Experience treating dysphagia and swallowing disorders, • Experience working with neurological populations (TBI, SCI, stroke, or related conditions), • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, • Ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, • Experience in home-based or community-based care is a plus, • Spanish-speaking is a plus Why Join NeuroPraxis? • Flexible independent contractor schedule., • Opportunity to work in-home and community settings, making a direct impact on clients’ lives., • Collaborative, supportive interdisciplinary team., • Exposure to innovative rehabilitation tools and technology.
