As a Senior Procurement Specialist, you will play a critical role in bringing our new hospitals to life. Reporting to our Launch Ops Manager, you will have a hand in supplying all of our new hospitals with the life-saving equipment and tools they need to help people and their pets when they need it most. WHAT YOU'LL DO • Maintain and curate VEG's master procurement list for New Hospitals (updating price,, • manufacturer information as needed)., • Monitor site-specific procurement lists, adding any tracking information or ETAs as soon as possible., • Serve as a liaison between the customer and suppliers, building and maintaining strong customer and vendor relationships., • Coordinate with key stakeholders to establish par levels, and min/max levels., • Utilize our procurement system, Coupa, regularly to automate spending across the organization., • Order and manage equipment bundles for the construction of new hospitals., • Stock and manage items with our 3PL partner., • Create vendor accounts for new hospitals (Janitorial, IDEXX, Cubex, Garda, etc), • Manage vendor Monday dashboard., • Schedule and coordinate vendor appointments during site setup week., • Lead routine check-in with vendors to provide feedback from new hospitals, keep timeline on track, provide updates on date changes, etc., • Lead vendor introduction call with Hospital Leadership team., • Create strong partnerships with our Launch team and cross functional partners. Communicate dates, status, and any updates to P&I, NHO, and Regulatory teams.
