Essential Functions and Accountabilities: • Assists with coordination of care, management, and treatment of fertility patients., • Implements Provider directives through management of diagnostic and clinical treatment plans., • Provides care for assigned patients by applying appropriate RMA workflows, policies and clinical practice guidelines:, • Reviews medical records and lab results. Ensures accurate data is entered into the EMR., • Communicates test results and patient instructions, • Provide patient education throughout all aspects of the treatment journey. Sets appropriate expectations, educates patient/couple on testing, treatment options and RMA processes., • Maintains accurate and timely documentation of patient care services in the EMR, • Demonstrates skills and judgment necessary to implement the plan of care. Performs nursing interventions and procedures as necessary to promote the care and safety of the patient., • Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients; comforts patients by anticipating their anxieties, answering questions and addressing concerns., • Participates in the education and training of nurses.
