    Country Serivce is a family-run car hauling, auto driveaway, and towing operation serving the NY/NJ/CT tri-state area. We run a fleet of trucks plus a driveaway crew, and we're growing. We're looking for operators who take pride in doing the job right — no drama, no damaged cars, no excuses. What You'll Do • Operate flatbed and/or wheel-lift trucks for towing, recovery, and vehicle relocation, • Load, secure, and transport vehicles safely — including no-key, no-start, and AWD units, • Handle vehicle transports, • Photo-document every job at pickup and delivery in our dispatch system, • Complete tow slips and paperwork accurately, • Perform daily pre-trip inspections and keep your truck clean and road-ready, • Represent the company professionally with customers who are often having a bad day What You Need • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (we pull MVR abstracts), • "W" (Tow Truck Operator) endorsement is preferred — or willingness to obtain it., • Current DOT medical card, or ability to obtain one, • 21 years or older (insurance requirement), • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check, • Reliable, on time, and reachable Preferred • 2+ years of flatbed / wheel-lift experience, • No CDL required, • Basic mechanical ability: jump starts, tire changes, lockouts, winch-outs, • Bilingual English/Spanish What We Offer • Competitive Industry Commission structure, • Paid weekly, • Well-maintained equipment — you're not fighting a broken truck all day, • Steady year-round work,, • Referral bonus for every driver you bring who stays 90 days How to Apply Apply here. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical HVAC training preferred. 2+ years of experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, or repair. Knowledge of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration components. EPA Section 608 Certification preferred or required, depending on local regulations. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying weather conditions. Preferred Skills: Experience servicing residential and commercial HVAC systems. Familiarity with digital controls, thermostats, and building automation systems. Knowledge of electrical systems, refrigerant handling, and airflow balancing. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality workmanship. Knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration. Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and mechanical building codes. Strong negotiation and client relationship management skills. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
