Sponsorship & Partnerships (Commission-Based) Life Itself Events - NYC / Remote (Flexible) Life Itself Events is a social enterprise dedicated to normalizing play, consent, and authentic connection. Through events, hubs, media, and cultural infrastructure, we empower radical autonomy and collective expression—building networks that transform how people relate, explore, and build relationships. We’re looking for a self-directed Sponsorship & Partnerships Lead to run with sponsorships across our ecosystem (Life Itself, Playjacent, Echelon, and related projects). This is a high-autonomy role for someone who wants ownership, flexibility, and real upside. The Role You will own sponsorship outreach and deal-making end-to-end: • Identify, pitch, and close sponsors (cash, product, services), • Craft sponsorship pitches and lightweight decks, • Lead outreach via email, calls, and direct relationships, • Shape creative, non-traditional partnership structures, • Collaborate with leadership on strategy, pricing, and positioning Structure & Freedom • Commission-based compensation on all sponsorships closed, • NYC-based candidates: open to discussing stipends for in-person work, • Goal to scale into a retainer as sponsorship revenue grows, • Extremely flexible schedule — work when and how you work best, • High trust, low micromanagement, real ownership, • Open to equity deals based on performance Expectations: • Join a weekly team meeting via Zoom, • Meet with Leadership 2–4 times per month via Zoom, • Otherwise, this role is self-directed — you run with it Who This Is For: • Strong communicator and closer, • Comfortable pitching vision, not just inventory, • Excited by culture, nightlife, play, media, and social impact, • Motivated by autonomy, commission upside, and building something meaningful This is not a traditional job. It’s an opportunity to build real revenue around a compelling mission, with significant creative and strategic autonomy. We’re looking for someone who can independently drive sponsorship and partnership efforts while collaborating with leadership as needed.
