We are seeking multiple experienced AV Technicians with strong installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning skills to support our growing project workload across NYC and surrounding regions. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of hands-on experience working in an AV integration environment installing, testing, and supporting professional AV systems. What You’ll Do • AV Installation & Integration, • Install, terminate, and configure professional AV systems including:, • Conference rooms and huddle spaces, • Video conferencing systems (Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, etc.), • Digital signage and IPTV, • Sound systems and microphones, • Video distribution and control systems, • Displays, projectors, LED walls, and racks, • Pull, terminate, test, and label low-voltage cabling (Cat6, fiber, speaker wire, control, and AV signal cable), • Mount displays, speakers, cameras, microphones, and rack equipment per drawings and best practices, • Build and dress AV racks with clean, professional cable management System Testing & Commissioning • Power up, test, and verify all AV systems after installation, • Perform signal flow testing, audio tuning, and video verification, • Troubleshoot issues related to audio, video, control systems, and networks, • Work closely with programmers and engineers to resolve system issues during commissioning, • Assist with punch-list items and final QA before project turnover Field Coordination & Client Interaction • Follow drawings, scopes of work, and install documentation, • Coordinate with project managers, field engineers, electricians, IT teams, and other trades, • Maintain a professional presence on job sites with clients and end users, • Provide basic end-user support and guidance during system handoff Documentation & Reporting • Keep installation progress and updates current in Monday.com or company project tools, • Mark up drawings and report field changes, • Document issues, resolutions, and system conditions clearly and accurately What You Bring • 3+ years of experience as an AV Technician in a commercial AV integration environment, • Strong hands-on knowledge of:, • AV signal flow (HDMI, HDBaseT, SDI, IP video, Dante, etc.), • Professional audio systems, microphones, DSPs, and speakers, • Video conferencing and collaboration platforms, • Experience working with products from manufacturers such as:, • Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS, Biamp, • Shure, Poly, Cisco, Phillips, Samsung, Epson, Netgear, • Ability to read and follow AV drawings, rack elevations, and wiring diagrams, • Solid troubleshooting skills and attention to detail, • Strong communication and teamwork skills, • Ability to work independently on job sites and meet deadlines, • Willingness to travel within NYC and surrounding areas, • Ability to drive our commercial vehicles if needed., • Capability to report to our office Hicksville NY when requested, for kick off meetings, training, and when requested by management., • Disposition to work with AV helpers and apprentices. Job Description We are seeking an experienced Cable Technician to support commercial and residential installation projects. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience installing, routing, and troubleshooting low‑voltage cabling, along with strong attention to detail and the ability to work safely in active environments. Responsibilities • Install, pull, and route low‑voltage cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, coax, fiber), • Terminate cat6 cable, • Mount, label, and test cabling according to industry standards, • Build and dress network racks, pathways, J‑hooks, and cable trays, • Read and follow blueprints, wiring diagrams, and scope of work documents, • Diagnose and repair cable faults, connectivity issues, and signal problems, • Use testing equipment (Fluke, light meters, TDRs) to verify performance, • Work safely on ladders, lifts, and in both finished and construction environments, • Communicate progress and issues to supervisors and project managersQualifications, • 1+ years of experience as a Cable Technician or in structured cabling, • Strong knowledge of copper and fiber installation and termination standards, • Ability to use hand and power tools related to low‑voltage installation, • OSHA 30 and SST (preferred for NYC projects), • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various site conditions Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
