Job Description Position Summary: Job Title: RN Supervisor – Nursing Department Location: Whittier, CA (Headquarters) – Requires travel including to Ambulatory Infusion Suite. Additional Locations: (Pomona, CA, Rancho Cucamonga, CA, and San Diego, CA). Position Overview: The RN Supervisor of the Nursing Department plays a critical leadership role in ensuring the de-livery of high-quality patient care while overseeing the daily operations of the nursing team. Based primarily at our headquarters in Whittier, this position requires travel between AIS locations to provide support and maintain consistency across sites. Reporting to the Director of Nursing, the RN Supervisor is responsible for coordinating staffing, scheduling, training, and performance management. This role is instrumental in maintaining regulatory compliance, supporting quality assurance initiatives, and fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. Key Responsibilities: • Daily Operations Oversight: Supervise the day-to-day functions of the nursing department, ensuring patient care workflows and departmental activities run smoothly and efficiently., • Staffing and Scheduling: Develop and manage staff schedules, ensure adequate shift coverage, and respond promptly to staffing concerns or gaps., • Training and Development: Plan and coordinate training and development programs for nursing staff to ensure continued competency and adherence to best practices and safety protocols., • Performance Management: Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and address performance issues while supporting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement., • Problem-Solving and Crisis Management: Proactively identify and resolve issues that affect patient care, staff productivity, or department operations., • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities, staffing levels, incidents, and operational concerns., • Quality Assurance and Improvement: Collaborate on quality improvement initiatives and help evaluate outcomes to enhance departmental performance and patient satisfaction. Clinical Care Responsibility: The RN Supervisor is the ground led to ensure daily operations oversight. must be able and willing to provide direct patient care in the Ambulatory Infusion Suite and/or Home Health settings as needed. This includes stepping in during staff shortages, emergencies, or when specialized clinical support is required. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) or related field., • Active and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license., • Current BLS. ACLS certification preferred., • Ig and/or INS certifications strongly preferred., • Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role in both acute and home health care settings., • Strong understanding of nursing practices, patient care standards, and healthcare regulations., • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage staff and resources effectively., • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills., • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities., • Adaptability to dynamic environments and changing priorities. Physical Demands: • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods., • Must be able to travel by car between AIS locations., • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed., • Capacity to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment. Work Environment: • Primarily based at our headquarters in Whittier, CA, within a healthcare facility that in-cludes patients, pharmacy staff, nursing personnel, and medical equipment.
