American Traveler is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Snellville, Georgia. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: MRI Technologist, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Start Date: 04/13/2026, • Duration: 14 weeks, • 40 hours per week, • Shift: 10 hours, nights, • Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview • Shift: Nights, 4x10hrs, • Hours: 40 hrs/wk, • Start Date: Apr 13, 2026, • Length: 14 weeks, • Acute care hospital MRI department setting, • Adult and geriatric patient population, • Procedures include diffusion imaging (non-brain), gradient echo imaging, image post-processing (apparent diffusion coefficient mapping, subtraction), multiplanar reconstruction (MPR), and perfusion imaging, • Systems in use include Epic, Pyxis, GE, PACS, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba, • 4x10 hour night shifts, 9:30 PM – 7:00 AM, Monday through Thursday, • Every other weekend required, • Floating within the facility and scope of practice as needed, • On-call requirements applyRequirements, • Minimum of 1 year of MRI technologist experience, • Current BLS and ARRT certification required, • License required if applicable, • Proficiency with diffusion imaging, gradient echo, MPR, image post-processing, and perfusion imaging, • Experience with GE, Philips, Siemens, and/or Toshiba MRI systems preferredAdditional Information, • First-time travelers are accepted for this position, • Pewter gray scrubs required, • RTO maximum of 7 days for the assignment; RTO cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment, • If one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work all of them with no holiday RTO permitted; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler must work two and may request one holiday off for approval, • Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day, • Travelers must be away from all facilities within this health system for a minimum of one full year before returning as a traveler, • Local candidates are accepted for this position, • Two supervisory references (manager level or above) are highly preferred; charge nurse references are not accepted With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
