Job Description Duration: 3-4 Month Contract to permanent Location: Onsite – Allendale, NJ Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (30-minute lunch) Start Date: ASAP Interview Process: One 30-minute virtual interview followed by one in-person interview Job Overview We are seeking a well-rounded Administrative Support professional to join a fast-paced, team-oriented technology environment. This role will primarily support the service and customer support side of the business, assisting with ticketing, customer communications, order tracking, and general administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable communicating with customers—including handling escalated or upset customers professionally. Key Responsibilities • Support the service and customer support team with daily administrative tasks, • Manage and update support tickets using Salesforce (service side), • Assist with customer communications, including drafting clear, professional, and well-thought-out emails, • Support ticketing workflows and service operations within Salesforce, • Maintain and populate lists and logs using Excel and Microsoft Office Suite, • Pull service, order, and activity logs as needed, • Track orders shipped and support related documentation, • Assist with general administrative duties in a dynamic, team-based environment, • Work closely with internal teams to ensure service-level expectations are met Required Qualifications • Experience with Salesforce, specifically on the service/support side, • Strong administrative and organizational skills, • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite (list population, data entry; no pivot tables required), • Customer service experience, including working with upset or escalated customers, • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in writing, • Comfortable working onsite in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, • Working knowledge of a technology-focused company preferred Preferred / Plus Skills • Experience with SAGE 50 accounting software (ERP), • Familiarity with SLAs, • Experience with QuoteWerks, • Background supporting service operations or technical support teams Ideal Candidate Traits • Highly organized and detail-oriented, • Well-rounded and adaptable, • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, • Able to multitask and prioritize effectively, • Collaborative team player Compensation: $24-26/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
