ARMStaffing is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a travel job in North Bergen, New Jersey. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Radiology Technologist, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Start Date: 09/29/2025, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 40 hours per week, • Shift: 8 hours, days, • Produces diagnostic radiographic examinations by positioning patients and selecting proper technical factors based on individual patient needs.\n, • Restricts radiation beam through cone and collimating devices to minimize exposure to unaffected parts of the patient.\n, • Performs portable x-ray examinations in patient rooms, operating rooms, and the emergency room.\n, • Identifies patient films with proper documentation and correctly marks films regarding the side of the patient taken.\n, • Develops exposed x-ray films using available processing methods.\n, • Completes patient requisitions with necessary information such as technologist initials, date, number, and size of film.\n, • Keeps the x-ray room orderly as directed by the department head.\n, • Prepares and administers radiopaque contrast media to patients as needed, assisting physicians during procedures.\n, • Handles administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, providing patient instructions, managing film filing, and maintaining records.\n, • Assists patients with mobility, including moving and positioning on x-ray tables.\n, • Lifts a minimum of 5 lbs., pushes and pulls a minimum of 10 lbs., and stands for at least 6 hours a day.\n, • Adapts care delivery to meet the specific needs of diverse patient populations, ensuring effective communication.\n, • 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM\n, • 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM\n, • 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM\n\n\nRequired Skills & Experience\n\n, • N/A\n\n\nPreferred Skills & Experience\n\n, • N/A\n\n\nEducation\n\n, • Required Education:\n \n, • High school diploma or equivalent.\n, • Completion of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.\n, • Completion of clinical and A.R.R.T. requirements.\n \n, • Preferred Education:\n \n, • N/A\n \n\n\nRequired Certifications & Licensure\n\n, • Must possess New Jersey State License.\n, • Health Benefits: Day-1 access to extensive benefits including Medical, Vision, Dental, Life, and more.\n, • Onboarding Made Easy: We coordinate your onboarding essentials—like physicals and titers—so you can focus on patient care while we handle the details.\n, • Clinical Support: Our in-house clinical team is here to answer questions, troubleshoot challenges, and advocate for you—every step of the way.\n, • 401k Retirement Savings Plan: After a qualifying waiting period, you're eligible to enroll.
