Job Description We are a locally owned and operated community pharmacy dedicated to providing personalized care and exceptional service to our patients. We're seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Pharmacist in Charge to join our close-knit team. Position Summary: The Pharmacist is responsible for ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient dispensing of medications, providing professional advice and counseling to patients, and maintaining compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations. In our small retail setting, the pharmacist also plays a key role in building relationships with patients and contributing to the daily operations of the pharmacy. Key Responsibilities: * Accurately verify and dispense prescriptions in accordance with federal and state regulations. * Provide patient counseling on medications, including proper usage, side effects, interactions, and storage. * Maintain accurate patient medication records and ensure proper documentation. * Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and other staff. * Perform medication therapy management (MTM) and other clinical services as appropriate. * Assist with inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and checking stock. * Ensure compliance with HIPAA, Board of Pharmacy regulations, and company policies. * Build rapport with patients and provide a welcoming, helpful environment. * Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work environment. * Stay current with pharmacy best practices, drug information, and continuing education. Qualifications: * Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited school. * Current and unrestricted pharmacist license in NJ. * Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards of practice. * Excellent communication and customer service skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. * Experience in a retail or community pharmacy preferred. * Proficiency with pharmacy software system BestRX Schedule & Benefits: * Punctuality is a must * Employee discounts, continuing education support.
