Job DescriptionJob Title: PharmacistJob Description We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Long-Term Care (LTC) Staff Pharmacist to join our team at our Somerset location. This role involves working on-site during nights and weekends, with potential for rotating shifts. The day shift runs from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, while the night shift is from 3:30 PM to midnight. Weekend shifts are every other weekend from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM. As part of our team, you will play a critical role in managing the anticipated volume of incoming prescriptions, while working alongside a committed team of pharmacists dedicated to delivering the highest level of patient care. Responsibilities • Assist with daily workflow related to prescription order processing., • Review prescription orders for appropriateness and accuracy., • Verify orders processed by pharmacy technicians., • Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify prescriptions., • Utilize Drug Utilization Review (DUR) for patient prescription management., • Maintain a strong understanding of NJ Board of Pharmacy regulations for prescription management and dispensing guidelines, including controlled medications.Essential Skills, • Licensed pharmacist in good standing in the state of NJ., • Minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited school., • At least 1 year of experience in LTC or retail pharmacy., • Strong understanding of NJ Board of Pharmacy regulations.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Experience with inventory management, prescription refill, ordering, order entry, claim processing, filling, labeling, and pharmacy support.
