Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry, • Discipline: RN, • Start Date: 03/03/2026, • Duration: 9 weeks, • 36 hours per week, • Shift: 12 hours, days, nights, • Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Registered Nurse Unit: Med/Surg- Tele Location: Cooperstown, NY 13326 Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Shift Length: 12 hours Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Duration: 13 weeks Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced RN – Med/Surg Telemetry with at least 2 years of recent acute care experience to provide high-quality patient care. The nurse will manage patients with medical, surgical, and cardiac conditions, including continuous telemetry monitoring.Responsibilities include clinical assessment, medication administration, care coordination, and patient education. The role requires the ability to recognize and respond to changes in patient condition in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication, critical thinking, and commitment to patient-centered care and safety are essential for success in this position. Roles & Responsibilities: • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with medical, surgical, and cardiac conditions, including telemetry monitoring., • Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms, interpret findings, and promptly report any abnormalities., • Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed while ensuring patient safety., • Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans., • Educate patients and families, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure compliance with hospital standards and protocols.Skills:, • Proficient in cardiac rhythm interpretation and telemetry monitoring, • Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient care skills, • Experience with medication administration, IV therapy, and care coordination, • Excellent communication and teamwork with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced acute care environment while ensuring patient safetyDocuments Required:, • Valid NY State RN license, • ACLS Certified through AHA, • BLS Certified through AHA Our agency may be new to your list, but we’re here to provide you with exceptional opportunities.
