The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 18 months of recent operating room experience, including scrubbing and circulating duties. The Surgical Technologist will work with robotic, GU, GYN, and general surgery cases while maintaining accurate counts and managing specimens. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgical procedures., • Scrub and circulate for surgical cases, specifically in GU, GYN, and General surgeries., • Collaborate effectively with surgeons and other healthcare team members., • Take call during nights and weekends as required., • Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain compliance with facility policies., • Conduct accurate accounting of surgical instruments and other items., • Assist in the orientation and training of new staff as necessary. Qualifications: • Minimum of 18 months of recent, permanent operating room experience prior to applying., • Must possess a valid Ohio license at the time of application. Compact licenses are accepted for any starts from January 1, 2023, and forward., • AHA BLS certification required., • One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty is mandatory for submission., • Must successfully complete the ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessment during orientation, with acceptable scores required. Additional Requirements: • Must be nicotine-free (exceptions for nurses and CSTs)., • Background checks will be conducted, and any open cases may lead to disqualification., • Candidates will need to complete onsite fingerprints and obtain their badge prior to the start date.
