Job DescriptionJob Title: Registered Nurse Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to facilitate patient care and ensure efficient medical processes. This role involves managing patient interactions, updating medical records, and coordinating with healthcare professionals to deliver exemplary care. Responsibilities • Facilitate patient care and ensure seamless medical procedures., • Triage phone calls to address nurse-related questions., • Follow up on patient care, including imaging orders, biopsies, and medication reviews., • Prepare and organize medications for doctors to administer., • Update Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and manage prescription refills., • Maintain efficient patient flow and ensure proper preparation for patient visits., • Act as a liaison between patients, staff, and physicians., • Collect and label lab specimens accurately., • Obtain and document vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, height, and weight., • Demonstrate and document telephone triage protocols., • Schedule appointments accurately according to department guidelines., • Review and update medication lists, ensuring correct documentation of allergies., • Active NJ State Nursing License., • Associates degree required; BSN preferred., • Experience with EMR systems (Athena or Epic preferred)., • Patient care expertise. The position offers a great schedule with supportive staff and providers, working Monday to Friday. This outpatient setting allows for long-term patient relationships, offering the opportunity to see patients quarterly or biannually, fostering a connection and providing consistent care. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $53.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
