Job Description As a Business Development Director focused on Multi-Location Retail for Bluewave, you will cultivate new customers for our technology solution advisory within the retail space. Your goal will be to generate long-term mutual value between each customer and Bluewave. You will have a specific quota and will be responsible for meeting or exceeding that quota quarterly. This role requires a demonstrable understanding of the healthcare space and the IT advisory/telecommunications industry. You act with the highest integrity at all times and your stellar communication and organization skills enable you to excel at all communications, internal and external to the organization, and exhibit strong funnel management, forecasting, and quota attainment. What You'll Do • Proactively identify and cultivate new customer opportunities in the multi-location retail space, • Impact sales results through executive-level contacts with key partners, including QBRs, strategic planning, and CEO/COO level meetings, • Develop and write program concepts, proposals, and reports, • Understand customer challenges and engage appropriate internal expertise and solution engineers to create value added solutions, • Develop strategies and business plans, leveraging partners and executing against metrics and milestones to drive company revenue, • Interface with Account Directors, Operations, Partners and Marketing to generate compelling segment specific marketing material, • Attend trade shows and segment specific networking events, • Maintain CRM entries (Salesforce) for a high volume of activity What Qualities You Possess • A professional demeanor with a strong work ethic and are dependable, • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, • Strong written and verbal communications skills, • A competitive personality, • Creative, decisive, and able to work in a collaborative, team-oriented work environment, • A high level of intellectual curiosity and are comfortable with ambiguity, • Ability to work well independently without close supervision or management, • Capability to thrive working in a fast paced, dynamic, high energy work environment, • Deliver accurate information in a usable form and in a timely manner, • At least 5 years of proven success in consultative selling, • At least 2 years of experience selling to technology decision makers (ex. CIO, CTO, IT Leaders) at multi-location retail businesses, • Strong understanding of UCaaS, CCaaS, PaaS, data center and telecommunications, • Disciplined in the use of CRM tools (Salesforce) for forecasting and sales activity tracking, • Windows PC experience and Microsoft Office proficiency We are not sponsoring work visas for this position at this time. Compensation and Benefits • $100,000-$135,000+ base, depending on experience, • $75,000-$125,000+ on-target commission potential We are grateful for your interest in this opportunity.
