Job Description💡 GC Chemist – Pharmaceutical QC (Queens, NY | In-Office) Join a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer committed to quality and innovation. This is a full-time, in-office role in Queens, NY, ideal for an experienced chemist with strong Gas Chromatography (GC) expertise and a passion for method development and validation. 🔍 About the Role You’ll perform advanced laboratory testing using GC, develop and validate methods, and support method transfer activities. This position offers a unique opportunity to apply R&D-level skills in a QC environment while enjoying a better commute and work-life balance. 🛠️ Key Responsibilities • Independently perform advanced GC testing of raw materials and finished products, • Develop GC methods and execute method validation, verification, and transfer, • Operate GC instruments with headspace and direct injection capabilities, • Support investigations, audits, and regulatory inspections, • Maintain cGMP-compliant documentation and mentor junior chemists✅ Qualifications, • 5+ years of experience in GC methods development, validation, and transfer, • Strong troubleshooting skills with GC instrumentation, • Experience in pharmaceuticals and QC chemistry, • Familiarity with cGMP standards and compliance, • Bonus: HPLC, mass spectrometry, titration, wet chemistry🏢 Work Environment & Benefits, • Location: Queens, NY (shorter commute for many LI professionals!), • Schedule: Full-time, in-office, • Compensation: Up to $95K (potentially $100K for top talent), • Better commute & family time: Epic is the only pharmaceutical manufacturer located in Queens—avoid long drives to Hauppauge or deep Suffolk., • Creative work: 40% of your time will involve method development, validation, and transfer—skills typically associated with R&D.
