    Happy Space Playground is a family-friendly environment dedicated to providing a safe, educational, and fun atmosphere for children between the ages of 1 and 6 years old. Job Overview We are seeking an energetic educator passionate about building relationships and educating young children. Classes run from 3:00 PM to 5:40 PM and last 40 minutes each. You will lead and develop program classes, which vary based on season and demand. Classes may include Chess, Math Mania, Yoga, Dance, Little Scientist, Arts and Sensory, and more. Responsibilities include: • Working with children ages 1-6., • Providing quality customer service to children and parents., • Ensuring that all children follow rules and respect each other., • Creating daily and weekly lesson plans., • Being comfortable teaching a variety of classes., • Maintaining reliability and dependability., • Responding promptly to accidents or injuries and providing first aid as needed, while reporting incidents to management., • Assessing classes and communicating program needs with the general manager. Qualifications • Preferred degree in early childhood education., • 1-2 years of experience working with children and teaching classes., • 1-2 years of customer service experience.

    Need kitchen “right-hand” for annual holiday party. The same six guests have joined my husband and me for an annual tasting menu every year for over 30 years. This year’s date will be Sunday, December 14. My husband plans the tasting menu of seven to nine courses months in advance and begins prepping the reductions, pastries, and other elements, as much as ten days ahead. He needs a right-hand chef in the kitchen for the final two days: the day before and day of, helping to prep the fresh ingredients and, on the night of the dinner, do the final prep and finishings on each of the dishes and keep the meal on track while we entertain our guests. We have a professional kitchen (our gas Wolf stove was recently replaced with a professional induction stove and range), with a large refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and plenty of counter and prep space. The guests are dear and appreciative, the apartment is decorated with our extensive antique Christmas collection, I serve as table service and sommelier, and we make sure you are compensated well, fed, and treated kindly.
