Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Driver to join our team. The forklift operator is responsible for moving materials around a warehouse using a forklift. Their duties include, but are not limited to: Loading and unloading: Moving pallets onto and off of trailers, and from storage areas to loading areas. Stacking: Stacking and unstacking goods onto pallets or shelves. Maintaining: Performing regular maintenance on the forklift and other tools, and inspecting for faults or damage. Safety: Ensuring driving areas are free of obstructions and spills, and following health and safety regulations. Communication: Using verbal communications to determine priorities. Packaging: Using wooden pallets and plastic wraps to package goods for transport. Some skills and qualities that are useful for a forklift operator include: Good physical health. Ability to stand for long periods. Strong hand-eye coordination. Ability to read and understand safety guidelines, shipping documents, and packaging.
