To support this journey, the company is looking for a strong and hands-on finance leader to join its headquarters in Barcelona. The role As Head of Group Finance, Controlling & Treasury, you will act as the right hand to the CFO and can be seen as the company’s internal CFO: the person who ensures that financial reporting, planning, control, cash management and governance are robust, scalable and business-oriented. You will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer. This is a broad, senior and highly visible role. You will be responsible for group finance, FP&A, consolidation, treasury, controls, statutory reporting and finance transformation. You will lead the central finance function, including an FP&A team of 4 FTE, the Treasury Lead and the Consolidation Manager. The position is ideal for a finance leader who combines strong technical finance capabilities with business partnering skills, leadership maturity and the ability to build structure in an international, entrepreneurial environment. What you will do • Group reporting, consolidation and financial control. You will lead the monthly, quarterly and annual group consolidation process and ensure accurate, timely and insightful reporting to management, the board and other stakeholders. You will oversee intercompany accounting, eliminations, FX, transfer pricing alignment and group accounting policies. You will safeguard the integrity of the balance sheet, ensure proper provisioning and drive high-quality financial governance across the group., • FP&A and business performance. You will lead the group FP&A agenda, including budgeting, rolling forecasts, long-term planning and scenario analysis. Together with the CFO and business leaders, you will translate financial data into clear insights on revenue, margin, costs, risks and opportunities. You will help the organisation identify trends early, understand performance drivers and make better commercial decisions., • Treasury and cash management. You will oversee treasury activities, including liquidity management, operational cash flow forecasting, banking infrastructure, payments, debt, financing and hedging. You will ensure that cash forecasting is closely aligned with FP&A while remaining practical, operational and forward-looking., • Transfer pricing. You will be responsible for the group’s transfer pricing policy, process and execution, working closely with external advisors and internal stakeholders to ensure consistency, compliance and commercial alignment., • Statutory, audit and compliance. You will coordinate statutory accounts and audits across jurisdictions and act as a key contact for external auditors, tax advisors and other professional partners. You will ensure compliance with local regulations, tax requirements and governance standards. Experience with Dutch GAAP is considered a strong plus., • Finance transformation and systems. You will play a leading role in improving finance processes, controls and systems. Jumbo Play works with Oracle ERP and Tagetik as consolidation tool. You will drive standardisation, automation and best practices across entities, helping the finance function become more scalable, efficient and insightful., • Leadership and team development. You will lead, coach and develop a central finance team consisting of FP&A, treasury and consolidation professionals. You will create clarity, accountability and collaboration between group finance and local finance teams. This role requires someone who enjoys building strong teams, improving ways of working and creating a culture of ownership, quality and continuous improvement. What you bring You are a finance leader with strong technical knowledge, commercial understanding and the confidence to operate close to the CFO and senior management team. You know how to combine detail with overview, governance with pragmatism and control with business impact. You bring: • A master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Data Analytics or a related field., • A professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, ACA or equivalent is preferred., • Approximately 5–10+ years of relevant experience in multinational finance roles., • Strong experience in consolidation, reporting, FP&A, financial control and governance., • Proven leadership experience; this is a must., • Experience in a mid-sized international company and in a broad finance role is a strong plus., • Strong knowledge of IFRS; Dutch GAAP experience is a plus., • Experience with treasury, cash flow forecasting, statutory audits and transfer pricing., • A hands-on, structured and improvement-driven mindset., • Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills., • The ability to explain complex financial topics clearly to non-finance stakeholders., • Fluency in English is required., • Spanish is a plus. Compensation The salary will depend on knowledge and experience and is expected to be around €100,000 gross per year, plus a strong secondary benefits package.
