The Role

The Cook at Sandwich Club Barcelona is a vital part of the kitchen team, responsible for preparing menu items with precision, consistency, and care. Working closely with the Head Chef and the front-of-house team, the Cook ensures that every dish reflects the values and quality standards of S.C.B.®. This role involves upholding hygiene and safety protocols, contributing to menu development, and ensuring the smooth operation of kitchen service.

Main Duties

Prepare and cook all menu items according to S.C.B.® standards and recipes.
Ensure consistent presentation and high quality in every dish.
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen at all times.
Rigorously follow all food hygiene and safety procedures.
Assist with daily mise en place and stock preparation.
Work in close coordination with the front-of-house team to deliver timely and seamless service.
Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages or ordering needs to the Head Chef.
Receive, check, and correctly store all deliveries.
Contribute ideas for seasonal dishes and improvements to existing recipes.
Support the training and onboarding of new kitchen team members.
Maintain a professional, positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.


What we are looking for

2-3 years’ experience in a similar kitchen role, preferably in a dynamic and quality-focused restaurant.
Passion for fresh, high-quality ingredients and thoughtful presentation.
Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to changing demands.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Punctual, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards.
Spanish and/or English.
Motivation to grow professionally as part of the S.C.B.® team.
