The company
Founded by entreprenuer Ignacio Coca, the Hotel Los Monteros was inaugurated in 1962 with 35 rooms. However, the high demand meant that it was enlarged on three occasions until it became a Grand Luxury hotel with 68 rooms, 20 luxury villas and more than 440 members of staff.

Celebrities of all kinds have been guests at the hotel, such as Queen Ingrid of Denmark, Michael Jackson, Julio Iglesias, Camilo José Cela, Baroness Von Thyssen, Lola Flores, Sean Connery, Antonio Banderas, Melanie Griffith or Carlos Herrera.

The hotel complex was a valuable asset to Spain’s tourism, and it was made up by: Hotel Los Monteros, Río Real golf course, tennis club, La Cabane beach club and the horse-riding club.

It had the first golf course in town, the current Río Real golf course; today it offers green fees in more than 20 golf courses of the area.

OROVIA ESTATES is a real estate advisory operating on the Costa del Sol, working with buyers, sellers and investors. We are not a volume agency. Our approach is built around data, pricing accuracy and exit strategy, not just listings. OROVIA works in direct connection with Costa Rentals, one of the largest short-term rental operators in the area. This gives us real, operational rental data and a constant flow of investor and owner leads — not theoretical numbers. This sales role sits at the centre of that ecosystem. We are looking for one person, full-time, working from our offices in Marbella and Fuengirola, under an autónomo (self-employed) structure. The goal is simple: have a strong, reliable sales lead in-house without building a heavy payroll. How the role actually works Fixed working days, in-house You are the daily point of contact for sales You manage leads, listings, viewings and follow-ups You help structure and supervise a team of autonomous sales agents You work directly with the partners At the beginning, you will do a lot yourself. As volume grows, your role becomes more managerial. Tasks Follow up buyer and seller leads Sign property mandates (exclusives matter) Organise and attend viewings Keep CRM and listings clean and up to date Coordinate daily sales admin and follow-ups Build and manage autonomous sales agents Handle referral leads from our network Apply and protect the OROVIA sales process Requirements This role is for someone who: Wants a full-time position but prefers an autónomo structure Has experience in real estate or high-ticket sales Is organised, consistent, and comfortable with follow-ups Likes structure and clear rules Is based on the Costa del Sol Works fluently in English (Spanish is a strong plus) This is not for someone looking for: A part-time role Remote flexibility A guaranteed salary without performance A junior or training position Benefits €1,000 fixed monthly retainer (invoice) 20% commission on deals you sign and close 10% commission on OROVIA-provided listings €250 per exclusive mandate signed 5% override on sales from agents you manage 5% commission on Costa Rentals client deals We are not looking for polished applications. We are looking for someone who understands the reality of the role and wants to build something that lasts.
