🧬CNAG – The Institute The Centro Nacional de Análisis Genómico (CNAG) is a world-leading genomics research institute located in Barcelona. With state-of-the-art genomic analysis capabilities, CNAG supports national and international researchers, as well as clinicians, in their pursuit of cutting-edge research and clinical applications. The CNAG carries out genomic analysis projects of any scale to improve quality of life in collaboration with the Spanish, European and international research community. CNAG is one of the largest genome analysis centers in Europe, with Illumina, Oxford Nanopore Technologies and Pacific Biosciences sequencers, state-of-the-art single-cell equipment, and an extensive computing infrastructure. The operation is certified according to ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 and accredited according to ISO 17025, delivering standardized, high-quality data for research and clinics. The CNAG has more than 130 professionals who participate in major International Genome Initiatives and EU funded projects. The institute is structured into different teams, units and groups, spanning from Bioinformatics, Sequencing, Single-cell, to Corporate Management. 🧬About the Unit/ Team The Biorepository team is a part of the Sequencing unit that provides highly specialized support in next generation genomics to national and international researchers and clinicians and conducts strategic development and implementation of the protocols.
