About the job Some of your responsibilities include: Operate all kitchen and dishwashing equipment safely. Wash dishes, glassware, equipment, and silverware by hand when necessary. Keep the area in the kitchen clean and free of debris and water. Restock all supplies and stock any deliveries received in a timely and safe manner. Remove all trash and debris from the restaurant routinely. Assist other restaurant personnel with tasks. Assist Chief Steward with inventory ordering. Highly motivated and flexible, with the ability to take initiative. Food Handler and Alcohol Awareness Certifications (if applicable). Able to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. Excellent interpersonal communication skills, problem-solving skills, and organizational ability. Able to learn, retain, and present product, menu, and allergy information to guests. Prior knowledge or point-of-sale system/ restaurant reservation systems. Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed. Ability to work outdoors in very warm weather.
