About the job Some of your responsibilities include: Operate all kitchen and dishwashing equipment safely. Wash dishes, glassware, equipment, and silverware by hand when necessary. Keep the area in the kitchen clean and free of debris and water. Restock all supplies and stock any deliveries received in a timely and safe manner. Remove all trash and debris from the restaurant routinely. Assist other restaurant personnel with tasks. Assist Chief Steward with inventory ordering. About the job: Some of your responsibilities include: Lead service education through daily line-ups; new staff training programs; ongoing development programs and seminars; daily evaluation of restaurant service performance; employee discussion and evaluations; coordination of timely food production. Help meet budget in all areas of cost control with consistent focus on cost of sales and payroll. Monitor the cleanliness of the restaurant internally and externally. Coordinate kitchen cleanliness with the Chef. Coordinate service area maintenance when necessary. Strong understanding and ability to train the team on Forbes/ AAA luxury standards. Passion for crafting and personalizing guest experiences. Highly motivated and flexible, with the ability to take initiative. Food Handler and Alcohol Awareness Certifications (if applicable). Able to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. Excellent interpersonal communication skills, problem-solving skills, and organizational ability. Able to learn, retain, and present product, menu, and allergy information to guests. Prior knowledge or point-of-sale system/ restaurant reservation systems. Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed. Ability to work outdoors in very warm weather.
