Role Overview We now have the opportunity for a Communications System Architect to join our Technology Department. You will play a key role, ensuring alignment with our business objectives and meeting the highest industry standards. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design, develop, and deliver. Key Responsibilities Lead and execute end‑to‑end networking projects, from design to implementation and validation. Produce high‑quality technical deliverables: HLD/LLD documents, configuration templates, migration plans, test plans, and runbooks. Ensure project milestones, dependencies, and objectives are met with rigor and on‑time execution. Be part of the technical team responsible for designing, implementing, operating, and maintaining our Network. Participate in technical decisions, discussions, and trade‑offs, to deliver a technical solution design and implementation. Apply technical standards, patterns, and best practices to the solution provided. Constantly seek continuous improvement and optimization of the system, staying aware of the latest trends and advances in the industry and identifying possible areas of improvement within the existing solution. Support escalated technical issues during project phases and provide expert guidance. Candidate Profile Master/ B.A. in Network Engineering. Fluent level of English (B2 minimum). More than 10 years of probable experience in IT. Solid understanding of design practices and system architecture, considering implications and trade‑offs of reliability, scalability, security, operation costs, and adoption path recruitments. Solid knowledge in network solutions such as SDWAN, ACI, VxLAN (routing, switching), Networking in Cloud (AWS/Azure), Cisco Wifi, Cisco ISE, F5, GTM, firewalls. Position requires EU work authorization. Valued Skills Experience working within Agile frameworks (Scrum / SAFe). Ability to create and manage Epics, Features, Enablers/Features, ensuring clear acceptance criteria and business alignment. Ownership of personal workload and deliverables, with strong discipline in follow‑up and reporting. Ability to translate technical requirements into actionable Agile tasks while collaborating with Product Owner and Team Leader. Relevant certifications: CCNP/CCIE, Paloalto/Fortinet Firewalls, F5, AWS Advanced Networking, Azure Network Engineer Associate, DevNet Professional, etc. Specific Technical Requirements Advanced Cloud Networking (AWS & Azure) High‑level architecture design for multi‑account / multi‑subscription environments. VPC/VNet design, segmentation, routing, Transit Gateway / Virtual WAN, Direct Connect / ExpressRoute. Cloud network security: SG/NSG rules, NACLs, WAF, private endpoints, microsegmentation. Cloud load balancing (ALB/GWLB, NLB, Azure Load Balancer, Application Gateway). Automation using Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, Azure CLI/AWS CLI, Python. Monitoring and diagnostics with CloudWatch, VPC Flow Logs, CloudTrail, Azure Monitor, Network Watcher. Cisco ACI Design and implementation of ACI fabrics (Leaf‑Spine, Multi‑Pod, Multi‑Site). Policy‑based architecture (Tenants, VRFs, BD, EPGs, contracts, L3Out). Integration with VMM, hypervisors, and Kubernetes. Automation with Ansible/Python; ACI API usage. Performance optimization, lifecycle management, and fabric upgrades. Troubleshooting using Nexus Dashboard, Insights, and advanced ACI tools. Cisco SD‑WAN Architecture and design of large‑scale SD‑WAN deployments. Policy definition: traffic engineering, security policies, segmentation, and application‑aware routing. Integration with cloud providers (Cloud OnRamp). Automation, telemetry, and advanced monitoring. Expert‑level troubleshooting across control and data planes. Enterprise Networking BGP, OSPF, EVPN/VxLAN, L2/L3 design, QoS, ERSPAN, network security, NAC (Cisco ISE), firewalls, and load balancing (F5). High availability, redundancy models, and zero‑downtime migration strategies. Competencies Strong analytical mindset with a clear focus on execution and results. Collaborative team player; organized, methodical, and dependable. Excellent communicator, able to translate complex solutions clearly to management, peers, and stakeholders, acting as a trusted technology advisor.
