As a Strategic Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing growth strategies across medium and large national hospital accounts. You will lead the management of strategic customer relationships, identify expansion opportunities, coordinate tender processes, negotiate agreements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver sustainable business growth. This role requires strong experience working with hospital procurement structures, public tenders, competitive bidding processes, and strategic account management within the healthcare sector. It is focused on institutional sales and business development rather than medical promotion activities. Strategic Account Management: Develop and implement account plans for medium and large national hospital accounts to achieve sustainable growth and exceed sales targets. Tender & Bidding Management: Lead and coordinate public and private tender processes, competitive bids, and contract renewals, ensuring full compliance and commercial excellence. Business Development: Identify and develop new opportunities within existing accounts, aligning proposals, pricing, and contractual terms with Essity’s value-based selling strategy. Customer Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including procurement departments, clinical decision-makers, economic managers, and hospital administrators. Commercial Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and position Essity solutions effectively against competitors while addressing customer needs and business challenges. Sales Enablement: Support sales teams with best practices, clinical evidence, and financial business cases that demonstrate value creation for customers. Market Intelligence: Monitor healthcare market trends, competitor activity, and procurement developments to identify risks and growth opportunities. University degree in Health Sciences, Nursing, Medicine, Physiotherapy, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Proven experience managing large hospital accounts, healthcare procurement processes, tenders, public bids, and strategic customer relationships within the healthcare industry. Strong analytical skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and commercial reporting tools. Demonstrated ability to negotiate, influence stakeholders, manage priorities independently, and build long-term partnerships in complex healthcare environments.
